Claremont McKenna College was joined by Scripps College, Harvey Mudd College, Pitzer College, Claremont Graduate University, and Keck Graduate Institute.  LINCOLN UNIVERSITY (PA) • Undergraduate student, BreJona Whitlock, received our 2017 Student Mental Health Advocate Award for her passionate Fresh Check Day planning efforts. • One of the two historically black colleges and universities to hold Fresh Check Day thus far. The other is Claflin University in SC.  UNIVERSITY OF HOUSTON (TX) • Fresh Check Day planning persevered and 500 students attended, just weeks after Hurricane Harvey devastated the Houston area.  WORCESTER STATE UNIVERSITY (MA) • One of the Worcester area colleges to hold Fresh Check Day in October 2017 as part of the Greater Worcester Community Health Improvement Plan, in partnership with the Worcester Division of Public Health. Other participating colleges included Anna Maria College and Assumption College. FRESH CHECK DAY YEARLY GROWTH BY STATES 2012-2017 Prior to 2015, CT was the only state to hold Fresh Check Day. In 2017, 33 states plus the District of Columbia held Fresh Check Days — that’s 19 new states in 2017 alone! • 19 new states in 2017 • 26 colleges in CT have had Fresh Check Days • 34 colleges in MA have had Fresh Check Days
